The idea is simple.

I know.

But I think the film turned out beautifully.

That theatrical, deadpan tone is incredibly difficult to pull off, and the credit for that belongs to Landia director Lucas Shannon.

Watching this film made me realize something about myself. I became fascinated by the challenge of inventing tone—finding the precise emotional register that makes an idea feel unlike anything else.

After this project, I decided to become a film director.

I wanted to chase that feeling myself.
