This project was a difficult one.

The creative team called me and said, "Espeche, here's the script: a woman walks into an elevator, opens the product, the elevator walls slide away... and then amazing things happen."

That was the entire brief.

So I started inventing.

I explored countless possibilities, built visual references, costed every direction, and imagined all kinds of worlds waiting behind those elevator doors.

Almap loved the treatment.

We won the pitch.

Then came the PPM.

And the client hated it.

The film eventually became much simpler than what we had originally envisioned.

Even so, I remember it as one of the biggest creative challenges of my career. Sometimes directing isn't about executing your favorite idea. It's about adapting without losing the spirit of the project.
